Ideal for families, this canal-side development comprises self-contained and serviced duplexes with a stunning view over Moby Dick canal.

Windsurfing, water-skiing, jetskiing, snorkeling, swimming, sunbathing, exploring the canals by canoe or motor boat and diving are just some of the activities that can be enjoyed by the whole family.

The canals of Marina Glade provide a unique and safe environment for boating, canoeing and swimming. You can explore the canals in your own boat or hire one locally. The canals are linked to the Kromme River estuary which provides the perfect setting for boardsailing. Board sailors can also head out to sea from Hobie Beach.

St Francis Bay offers endless stretches of glorious golden beaches lapped by the warm waters of the Indian Ocean. Discover the magic of Main Beach, Hobie Beach and Marina Glades. This exceptional destination enjoys an international reputation for its awesome surfing with the best conditions being experienced during the winter months. In 1963 the surfing documentary Endless Summer was made in St Francis Bay. The producer, Bruce Brown, an American surfer-photographer claimed to have discovered the perfect wave here. "Bruce's Beauties" as the waves became known break down the inside of the western arm of St Francis Bay near a rocky tidal pool known as "Granny's Pool". Another surfing hotspot is Seal Point at Cape St Francis. Jeffreys Bay and the famous "Super Tubes" are within 35 minutes drive of St Francis Bay.

St Francis Bay and Cape St Francis are renowned for excellent fishing and diving. Snorkeling, scuba diving, spearfishing and oyster diving are available. The local reefs are home to a large number of fish species and the rocky gullies abound with marine life. St Francis Bay prides itself on its excellent river, surf and deep sea fishing. Interestingly St Francis Bay is home to the largest squid (Calamari) fishing industry on the S.A. coast.

Royal Wharf Marina Resort is situated on the corner of St Francis Drive and Spray Avenue in St Francis Bay which is situated approximately midway between Port Elizabeth and Knysna. The nearest small town to St Francis Bay is Humansdorp (20km). The closest city is Port Elizabeth, a mere 50 minute drive away. Approximate distances from Humansdorp to other well known landmarks in the surrounding area are: Stormsriver - 115km; Nature's Valley - 161km; Plettenberg Bay - 200km; Knynsa - 230 km and Port Elizabeth - 90 km. Roads leading to St Francis Bay are excellent.
