Greater St Lucia Wetland Park

The Greater St Lucia Wetland Park World Heritage Site is a destination for serious nature lovers and walkers. This malaria free destination is renowned for its superb birding, stunning butterflies, bush and fossils.

Suni Forest Lodge is a four bedroom (all en-suite) syndicated lodge uniquely set in the sand forest of the Nibela peninsula overlooking the northern end of Lake St Lucia.

Suni Lodge is accessible by car via a gravel road or by boat via False Bay Park (enquire condition of lake first).

Suni Forest Lodge is very private and stunningly set in the Sand Forest overlooking Lake St Lucia towards the Tewate Wildeness Area and Eastern Shores. Sunrises over the lake are awesome.

The accommodation consists of 4 en suite bedrooms that lead onto a large deck overlooking the lake. The spacious open plan lounge, dining room and kitchen are surrounded by glass. The unit is fully equipped, has DSTV and is serviced daily.

Suni Lodge is surrounded by expansive wooden decks. There is a braai facility situated in the private forest boma leading off the lounge and kitchen.

The lodge is within walking distance on boardwalks from the main reception, pub and restaurant of Nibela Lake Lodge and the jetty from where the canoe trail begins.



Other onsite facilities include swimming pools, quad bikes and guided forest and fossil walks.
