Ocean View Beach House is a comfortable holiday home a stone's throw from the beach. The house is ideally suited for family groups and can accommodate a maximum of 12 people comfortably sleeping 8 adults in four of the bedrooms and 4 children in the fifth bedroom. The accommodation is configured as follows:

2 en-suite bedrooms with king size double beds
1 en-suite bedroom with 2 X 3 quarter beds
1 bedroom with 2 X 3 quarter beds. This bedroom shares a bathroom with the bunk room below
1 bedroom with 2 X 3 quarter double bunks suitable for children

Rentals

Ocean View Beach House

Ocean View Beach House is rented out, subject to availability, on the basis of a daily rate for the entire
house which sleeps a maximum of 12 people as described above. The rates are as follows:
a. Peak time (weekends, school holidays and public holidays): R4290 per night.
b. Off-peak winter/spring mid-weeks (May to end September): R3080 per night
c. Off-peak summer/autumn mid-weeks (October to end April): R2750 per night

Check-in and Check-out times

Full weeks: Check in Thursday from 16h00; check out Thursday by 10h00
Weekends: Check-in Thursday from 16h00; Check-out Monday by 10h00
Mid weeks: Check in on Mondays from 16h00; check out on Thursday by 10h00

Current discounts available: A 10% discount off the full rate is available for bookings of 14 consecutive days or more. Breakage Deposit: Guests are required to pay a R3000 refundable breakage deposit prior to occupation.

Cancellations and refunds

a. For cancellations up to 60 days ahead of occupation date, 90% of rate refunded
b. For cancellations from 59 – 15 days ahead of occupation date, 50% of rate refunded
c. For cancellations 15 days or less ahead of occupation date, no refund.

Getting There

Ocean View Beach House

From Maputo travel north on the EN1 for about 224km until you reach the town of Xai- Xai.

On crossing the bridge over the Limpopo River, travel almost through the town until the BP garage on the left.

Approximately 300m after this garage take a right turn to Praia de Xai Xai (see signboard to the beach).

Travel for about 12km until you reach a traffic circle, keep left and follow the tar road to the beach front.

At the beach front turn left onto the dirt road and travel north along the sea shore (pass the caravan park on your left hand side) for about 2.3km. Take care on the sand road for bumps and a sandy patch. Most cars get through the sand without any problems.

You will see Xai Xai Eco Estate entrance on your left.
