Purchase Process
To secure a stand at Gowrie farm Golf and Flyfishing Estate investors are required to sign an Agreement of Sale and lodge a deposit of R50 000 with the conveyancers (Venn, Nemeth and Hart inc.) within 7 days of signing the agreement. This deposit will be retained by the transferring attorneys in an interest-bearing trust account with interest accruing for the purchaser pending transfer. The purchaser must then lodge a Bank guarantee or make a cash deposit for the balance of the investment amount within 60 days of the date of signing the agreement of sale. Transfer of the property into the name of the purchaser will be registered as soon as possible after the installation of services to the property. The first transfers took place at the end of 2006. Occupation of the property will be given to the purchaser on registration of transfer and the purchaser will then be entitled to all benefits deriving from ownership of the property.
